Mmmm, this is quite good.  I tweaked an old recipe and I'm pretty happy with it.

Amaranth Pesto



  • Cook 1 pkg. of GoGo Quinoa's Amaranth and Rice Pasta, rinse well after cooking

Put the following ingredients in a food processor and blend & chop well

  • 80g or 2 cups packed fresh Basil
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 c hemp hearts
  • 1/4 tsp ground pepper
  • 1/4 - 1/2 tsp Herbamare
  • 1/4 c olive oil

Saute separately in olive oil

  • Broccoli
  • Red or White Onion
  • any other veggies

When the pasta is ready, mix pesto with pasta, then add in veggies and mix again.
